Dad Guild was founded to celebrate fathers as nurturing caregivers to their children. But at this stage in life many are not just serving as caregivers to their own kids but to aging loved ones as well. 

Join us as we host a conversation featuring Jennifer Harbison and Lauren Hemond, both Caregiver Support Specialists at Age Well, the Area Agency on Aging for Northwestern Vermont. We’ll discuss:

• What are signs an aging loved one needs additional support

• What elder care options exist in Vermont

• Tips for how to have conversations about elder care with aging loved one

But most importantly, we’ll just create a space for dads and masc-identifying caregivers to talk and share about elder care. Even if this is not something a dad is experiencing today, it is something that many will one day. Being prepared and informed goes a long way to lowering stress for all involved.
