We are expanding Dad Guild programming into Franklin County! Please join us for our first event—a low-key playgroup at St. Albans Free Library where you can meet other Dads and build community. This playgroup will be facilitated by Dad Fellow Dave Greiner. Free snacks provided. See you there!

WTF! This three-hour workshop for expecting dads takes place quarterly. Dads-to-be will get the crash course on all things baby- related, including hearing from a doula from Vermont Doula Company and from a handful of “seasoned” dads about what to expect. They’ll also get the 20-minute Dad Guild orientation so they all know how they can get involved in Vermont’s largest fatherhood community. Participants will get an instant network of folks in similar positions getting ready to transition into parenthood, and everyone will receive a free copy of the book Baby 411.

The last Saturday evening a month [except this month] from 8pm-10pm at Rock Point in Burlington, this peer support group shares and connects on a deeper level while modeling vulnerability.

The Guild Hall is officially open for families to enjoy Sunday morning from 9:30am - 11am. From 9:30 - 10:00, father, musician, and early childhood educator Alex Baron facilitates a weekly fam jam for all family members. We’ll have some instruments on hand for you and your littles to enjoy! Following the musical portion of the morning, families are invited to spend the next hour enjoying a casual playgroup in the space. Families had been hanging around afterwards anyways, so we figured we’d just make it official!

Programming is designed for children ages 0-3 years

Additionally, our good friends at Haymaker Buns downstairs will be offering $5 kids’ meals with any adult meal purchased to all playgroup attendees!

Dad Guild is headed to Tunbridge! Please join us at this drop-in event—a low-key playgroup on the second floor of the Tunbridge General Store where you can meet other Dads and build community. This playgroup will be facilitated by Dad Fellow Henry Rosario. Free donuts provided. See you there!

Join us on the second Sunday of every month from 3:30pm - 5pm for a low-key playgroup at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington. We’ll be in the kids’ section, most likely sprawled out on the floor somewhere, attempting to have conversations with one another while our kids have other plans. A casual substance-free hang those dads practicing sobriety, in recovery and those who are sober-curious

The Toast & Jams family concerts have been our biggest events attendance-wise. Last year was so popular we started to run up to the fire code limit at Contois Auditorium in Burlington City Hall.  Naturally, having such a huge turnout is a wonderful “problem” to have.

So this year, Toast & Jams is heading to Higher Ground! That’s right, we’ll be toasting and jamming at one of the main music venues in the area! We have the dates and musical guests lined up, so mark your calendars:

All concerts start at 10:00 AM and - like years past - will have 9 holes of free mini golf from the Portable Mini Golf Company along with all you can eat sourdough toast and jams from Miss Weinerz.

This year we ask families to register in advance so we don't have to turn people away due to capacity constraints. Tickets are available by donation on the Higher Ground website, with families being asked to pay what they can.
