Everyone has skin, and skin comes in so many different colors. But where do these colors come from? Can we change our skin color? What color is our skin, really?
Curious kids (and caregivers) can join Rokeby Museum’s Education Programs Manager, Jonathon Ahl, for an fun, educational event designed for an early education setting that will explain the science behind where our skin color comes from. We’ll match colorful objects, experiment with skin-tone accurate paints, and finish the day by grabbing a mirror and painting your own “skin color” self-portrait!
appropriate for children ages 3-5. Each child should be accompanied by a caregiver.
