Dad Guild Events!
Dad Guild offers a wide range of programming, all designed to meet dads where they are at
Our events fall into the following categories:
Dads Only: Social and peer-support events intended for dads to connect
Caregiver Education: Opportunities for dads to deepen their knowledge on parenting topics. Intended as “dads only” unless otherwise stated.
Dads & Kids: Fun events for dads to meet and bring their kids to play
Whole Family: Big events where all caregivers and members of the family are welcome to join
Public Community Events: informative discussion events where all parents and adult caregivers are welcome to attend.
Other details to note about our programming. You’ll see events listed with the following keywords:
Drop in - no registration required. Just come on by!
RSVP - we ask for folks to pre-register so we have a sense of attendance
In-person - event takes place in-person at the listed time and location
Virtual - event takes place online, via Zoom or Google Meet
Hybrid - event is both in-person and virtual. Attend whichever way works best. RSVPs will be emailed the meeting link in advance.

While we are not statewide (yet), we do have regular programming happening outside of Chittenden County.

FULL - Family Camping Trip Series - Quechee
UPDATE: all spaces for camping have been taken!
Campers of all experiences are welcome to attend these family friendly outings (partners are welcome too). We've got a handful of campsites booked, so you just need to save your spot by registering. Feel free to stay for one night, both, or just come visit for the day! If you need camping supplies, please let us know and we'll make sure you are good to go.

Join us at Kellogg-Hubbard Library for a low-key playgroup where you can meet other dads and build community. This playgroup is facilitated by Dad Fellow Nick Kramer.
ADDISON: Family Bike Ride: Lake Dunmore Loop
Join us for a family bike ride! We will meet at Branbury State Park and ride this route, a 10.4 mile loop around Lake Dunmore. We may stop for creemees and will definitely play at the beach once the ride is over! Dad Fellow Nate Billings will be leading this ride. UPPER VALLEY: Hairdos & Don’ts: A Hair Styling Workshop for Dads
Join us at The People's Barber Shop and Shave Parlor to learn the basics for how to take care of long hair! Dads will practice on mannequin heads with different hair textures and lengths. A local stylist will be teaching this workshop.

RUTLAND: Disc Golf
Regular on the disc golf course? Never played and want to learn? RUTLAND: MTG Commander Night
Dad Guild is coming to Rutland. As part of our programming push, we’ll be collaborating with Vermont Gaming Academy to host a special Dads’ Night Out casual commander Magic: The Gathering event.
So grab your favorite decks, come on down, and jam some games. And learn a bit more about Dad Guild to boot.
All skill levels welcome! We’ll be bringing a couple beginner decks to lend too, if needed.

UPPER VALLEY: Dad Day at American Precision Museum
Join Dad Fellow Peter Newton and other local dads for a morning at the American Precision Museum. You’ll explore the museum, which features "…a collection of machine tools, metrology tools, and other precision instruments primarily used in manufacturing…” (American Precision Museum).
The Dad Guild crew will also get a behind-the-scenes tour of the yet-to-be-completed Gene Haas Center for Manufacturing Inspiration!
