Dad Guild Events!
Dad Guild offers a wide range of programming, all designed to meet dads where they are at
Our events fall into the following categories:
Dads Only: Social and peer-support events intended for dads to connect
Caregiver Education: Opportunities for dads to deepen their knowledge on parenting topics. Intended as “dads only” unless otherwise stated.
Dads & Kids: Fun events for dads to meet and bring their kids to play
Whole Family: Big events where all caregivers and members of the family are welcome to join
Public Community Events: informative discussion events where all parents and adult caregivers are welcome to attend.

Drop in - no registration required. Just come on by!
RSVP - we ask for folks to pre-register so we have a sense of attendance
In-person - event takes place in-person at the listed time and location
Virtual - event takes place online, via Zoom or Google Meet
Hybrid - event is both in-person and virtual. Attend whichever way works best. RSVPs will be emailed the meeting link in advance.
Dad Guild is expanding our in-person programming across the state!
While we are not statewide (yet), we do have regular programming happening outside of Chittenden County.

RUTLAND: Playground Playgroup

WASHINGTON: Family Hike at The Short Trail
Families are invited to join us for a morning hike! Meet at the The Short Trail Trailhead at 9:45am, and we will roll out at 10am. Dad Fellow Kyler Star will lead the hike.
This loop is approximately 1 mile. It is pretty flat but not stroller-friendly. Afterwards, some folks might hang out at Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea for treats.
We will hike rain or shine!

UPPER VALLEY: Elizabeth's Park Takeover
Don’t know about Elizabeth’s Park? Step into a time machine and be transported back to 80s childhood. The wooden playground is gigantic. Like, really gigantic.

Join us to learn how to take care of long hair! Dads and masculine-identifying caregivers will practice on mannequin heads with different hair textures and lengths. Local stylist Jenny Marie will be teaching this workshop.

Join us for a family bike ride! We will meet at Branbury State Park and ride this route, a 10.4 mile loop around Lake Dunmore. We may stop for creemees and will definitely play at the beach once the ride is over! Dad Fellow Nate Billings will be leading this ride.
