Dad Guild Events!
Dad Guild offers a wide range of programming, all designed to meet dads where they are at
Our events fall into the following categories:
Dads Only: Social and peer-support events intended for dads to connect
Caregiver Education: Opportunities for dads to deepen their knowledge on parenting topics. Intended as “dads only” unless otherwise stated.
Dads & Kids: Fun events for dads to meet and bring their kids to play
Whole Family: Big events where all caregivers and members of the family are welcome to join
Public Community Events: informative discussion events where all parents and adult caregivers are welcome to attend.

Drop in - no registration required. Just come on by!
RSVP - we ask for folks to pre-register so we have a sense of attendance
In-person - event takes place in-person at the listed time and location
Virtual - event takes place online, via Zoom or Google Meet
Hybrid - event is both in-person and virtual. Attend whichever way works best. RSVPs will be emailed the meeting link in advance.
Dad Guild is expanding our in-person programming across the state!
While we are not statewide (yet), we do have regular programming happening outside of Chittenden County.

RUTLAND: Playground Playgroup at Justin Thomas Memorial Park
Dads and kids are invited to join us at the playground at Justin Thomas Memorial Park! We plan on being there in any weather, so pack your boots and rainsuits just in case. This event is hosted by Dad Fellow John McCann.

RUTLAND: Trivia Night at Speakeasy Café
Join the Dad Guild team for trivia at Speakeasy Café! Drinks and apps are on us!
RUTLAND: Morning Run
Join us for an early morning run in Rutland! We will do a casual, chat-while-you-run 2-3 miles, depending on how far folks want to go. We will run rain or shine. All attendees get a $10 VISA Gift Card as this will be a focus group too.

RUTLAND: Disc Golf
Regular on the disc golf course? Never played and want to learn? Join Dad Guild staff for a round of disc golf on Wednesday, July 22 from 5:30pm- 7:30pm at Northwood Park Disc Golf Course in Rutland Town. Bring your own discs or borrow some of ours. All attendees get a $10 VISA Gift Card as this will be a focus group too.

RUTLAND: MTG Commander Night
Dad Guild is coming to Rutland. As part of our programming push, we’ll be collaborating with Vermont Gaming Academy to host a special Dads’ Night Out casual commander Magic: The Gathering event.
So grab your favorite decks, come on down, and jam some games. And learn a bit more about Dad Guild to boot.
All skill levels welcome! We’ll be bringing a couple beginner decks to lend too, if needed.
Attendees will be given a FREE booster pack of Magic!
