Join us on the second Sunday of every month from 3:30pm - 5pm for a low-key playgroup at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington. We’ll be in the kids’ section, most likely sprawled out on the floor somewhere, attempting to have conversations with one another while our kids have other plans. Come with low expectations and you won’t leave disappointed.

The weather is warming up, meaning it’s the time of year where we get back out on the playground! There are tons of amazing playgrounds in the area, but let’s be honest, it’s always more fun when our kid has others to play with, and there are other caregivers to chat with. We’ll be meeting up at three different playgrounds across Chittenden County this spring, with stops in Burlington (4/27), Williston (5/18) and Milton (6/22). All playground playgroups take place on Sunday mornings from 10am - 12pm. See you out there!

Did you know the Montshire Museum of Science hosts free playgroups for kids ages 0-5 & their families (older siblings welcome) two Saturdays every month? Neither did we! This month, we'll use this awesome playgroup as an opportunity to meet up, check out the museum, and connect with each other. On Saturday, May 10th (the day before Mother’s Day) from 9am - 12pm, we’re inviting dads and their children to The Guild Hall for a morning of craft & gift making. We’ll have a variety of stations for making crafts, body scrubs, tea bags & more! After assembling a crafty gift bag full of thoughtful gifts from you and your child, you can also visit the other shops in The Soda Plant to find any other gifts to add to your basket!

We recently got our hands on 5 Chomp Saws, which are kid-friendly table saw type machines for cutting cardboard that you absolutely cannot get hurt on, and we’re excited to try them out with all of you! We’ve been collecting cardboard from all of our friends here at The Soda Plant, and we’ll spend the morning making all kinds of things our imaginations can come up with. Feel free to bring any other supplies you think you might need!

We’re thrilled to announce that after connecting with a handful of local dads and service providers, Dad Guild is now starting to offer in-person programs in Orange & Northern Windsor Counties! We’re still in the process of hiring another local dad (or two), but one of our champion dads, Jared Pendak, will be facilitating Dads & Kids: Spring Fling Bounce & Putt over at Running Water Recreation Center (behind the vet office) in Bradford on Saturday, April 12th from 10am - 12pm. Dads and their children will get free admission to 4 bounce houses (including an obstacle course) and 18 holes of miniature golf. Sign up today!
