Dad Guild Events!
Dad Guild offers a wide range of programming, all designed to meet dads where they are at
Our events fall into the following categories:
Dads Only: Social and peer-support events intended for dads to connect
Caregiver Education: Opportunities for dads to deepen their knowledge on parenting topics. Intended as “dads only” unless otherwise stated.
Dads & Kids: Fun events for dads to meet and bring their kids to play
Whole Family: Big events where all caregivers and members of the family are welcome to join

Drop in - no registration required. Just come on by!
RSVP - we ask for dads to pre-register so we have a sense of attendance
In-person - event takes place in-person at the listed time and location
Virtual - event takes place online, via Zoom or Google Meet
Hybrid - event is both in-person and virtual. Attend whichever way works best. RSVPs will be emailed the meeting link in advance.
Upper Valley Rail Trail Walk
Join us for a Dad Guild Rail Trail Walk this summer! Meet at Lucky’s Coffee Garage at 10:00 a.m. (we’ll head out right on time) for a relaxed, family-friendly out-and-back stroll on the beautiful Mascoma River Greenway. It’s a great chance to meet and connect with other Dads in the Upper Valley. Free and convenient parking is available just steps away at 10 Taylor Street behind Lebanon City Hall.

Upper Valley: Nighthawks baseball
Meet up for a Friday night of (free!) baseball as the Upper Valley Nighthawks face the Bristol Blues. Look for Dad Fellow Jared in his official Dad Guild gear!
RESCHEDULE: Upper Valley Salamander Stroll
Interpretive Forest Walk with naturalist Ben Fletcher of the Hartford Salamander Club who will discuss springtime amphibian and bird activity in Upper Valley forests.
Walk details: Approximately 1.5-mile hike (3-mile total) to a vernal pool.
NOTE: Hiking path is not stroller friendly. Baby carriers (if needed) plus sneakers / hiking boots required.
UPDATE: This event has been rescheduled to July 12 (because of inclement weather on the original date May 10.)

Montshire Museum Meetup
Did you know the Montshire Museum of Science hosts free playgroups for kids ages 0-5 & their families (older siblings welcome) two Saturdays every month? Neither did we! This month, we'll use this awesome playgroup as an opportunity to meet up, check out the museum, and connect with each other. Upper Valley Spring Fling Bounce & Putt
We’re thrilled to announce that after connecting with a handful of local dads and service providers, Dad Guild is now starting to offer in-person programs in Orange & Northern Windsor Counties! We’re still in the process of hiring another local dad (or two), but one of our champion dads, Jared Pendak, will be facilitating Dads & Kids: Spring Fling Bounce & Putt over at Running Water Recreation Center (behind the vet office) in Bradford on Saturday, April 12th from 10am - 12pm. Dads and their children will get free admission to 4 bounce houses (including an obstacle course) and 18 holes of miniature golf. Sign up today!
